It’s 10:30pm on Sunday night. I’ve just finished driving around for an hour to recharge my battery after leaving my passenger car door open for 4 days, which of course flattened the battery.
After waiting for 2 hours for the NRMA (roadside assist), I promptly drove to Woolies as I had run out of food, intending to leave the car running. Of course, I turned it off out of habit. I also forgot my phone but luckily Woolies let me use theirs to call the NRMA again. It would be another 90-minute wait! Then this lovely lady noticed I was stranded & said she would get her husband as he had a battery starter. He came & it started. In all the fuss I forgot to get their details. So I will pay it forward somehow over the next few days.

I love Sydney, the people are always so willing to help! – Kriz
