I asked him if I could take a photo and we got talking. He told me he was homeless and about his life, which rubbish bins he got his food from and how he had got some food to feed the seagulls. He was at the park, so I got him an ice cream.
I don’t think I so much helped him as he helped me – he helped me to see his life from his eyes and there is beauty in everybody. I plan to see him again and give him another ice cream, and my wonderful son has an idea to do a $10 challenge – that we buy $10 of food and give it to someone in need. I thought what a great achievable idea! Will let you know how I get on. – Liz 😀
