Years ago when my children were 2 years old and 6 months old, I headed to Costco for diapers. I got up to the register put both boxes of diapers on the conveyor belt and opened my purse to retrieve my wallet. To my horror, I had left my wallet at home. I was absolutely mortified!!
As I left the cart and gathered up my kids, I headed to the parking lot. I passed Shag and he smiled as he always did. I’m not sure if he was on break or if they asked him to re-stock the diapers I was unable to purchase. The next thing I know, as I am buckling my kids into their car seats, here comes Shag across the parking lot with you guessed it… both boxes of diapers!! He insisted I take them and that he had paid for them. I instantly teared up and thanked him.
This world could certainly use more people with his caring heart and warm smile. They say the Lord only picks the best angels and he definitely took an Angel that was among us. Sending Prayers for all his family!! – Michelle
