I felt called

Years ago, when money was better for us, the local Dollar Tree was selling teddy bears. I was blessed to be able to stock up over time and send them to a hospital I once was a patient of. It was such a miserable place that I wanted to bring some light there. I heard from one of the staff that my wish was granted. 

More teddies went to a nursing home I used to volunteer at. Again, they brought light to the residents and I remember the day we sent off 3 large boxes of bears! What joy it brought to ME! Even just recalling it makes me joyful and anxious for more financial stability so I can do it again!

Another blessing is it inspired my friend to call me Sister Little Bear! I am not a nun but at that time I actually felt called in that way. – Susi 🙂
