Great teachers remember

I wrote to my former elementary school giving them some coupons and telling them who all my teachers were, etc. I was there between 22 and 27 years ago.

Today I checked my email and found out that an employee at the school was friends with my 4th-grade teacher and sent her a copy of my letter! 😀 So, she actually wrote to me!!!! I am shocked that she actually remembers me and think that it may be because I lost my dad before the end of the year (probably not something teachers deal with often).

She updated me a bit and I look forward to writing to her now that I have her contact info. Maybe someone reading this will be inspired to reach out to an old teacher or school who may have the contact information of their teachers. – Susi 🙂
