Ensure to be kind

Recently I went for a walk around my local neighbourhood to enjoy a little fresh air and enjoy a spot of sunshine. During my walk, I came across a gorgeous little bucket filled with lemons hanging from a fence. ‘Help yourself’ was written on the bucket inviting anyone walking by to enjoy. Immediately I thought what a lovely thing to offer and share with the local community. I smiled broadly.

As I walked away, I knew that one good deed deserved another in return. Acts of kindness definitely create a ripple effect. So, today I wrote a little note to the householders and also purchased a bunch of flowers to thank them for providing kindness for the community. I simply popped them at their front door and left. Hopefully, this little surprise and symbol of appreciation will brighten their day.

We may never know how an act of kindness may impact another so ensure to be kind.

Today the little offering of free lemons made me feel grateful and happy to see kindness in action. Smiles all round.
