We put it behind us

I had a coworker that loudly yelled at me last week for something very uncalled for. I came in this morning and half of my office had chipped in for flowers and a box of Godiva truffles with a very nice note about how much I am appreciated. I’m sure the woman that was out of line felt quite foolish seeing how everyone rallied behind me.

After things had settled down, I decided to pay it forward and approached the woman, “Last week was very stressful for you. How about we put it behind us and move forward.” She was very grateful and we spoke about her past weekend. All is good and the office isn’t tense. – Juliee
