All she needed was time

I encountered an elderly lady who, at first seemed grumpy, grouchy and was very short but I’m a talker…and a listener lol. I simply sparked a conversation which, in turn, lasted over an hour!

Through the conversation, I discovered this sweet lady had endured many heartaches, losses and sadness. We cried together, I hugged her and she hugged me back so tightly. She simply needed someone to talk to and someone to listen.
