Are you ready for Random Acts of Kindness Day on 17 February? We're excited to provide you with some kindness activities for students learning at home and in the classroom. And the best part is that they're all FREE!!
1. Digital Jigsaw Puzzle
Our Google Slides jigsaw puzzles have been immensely popular so what better gift from us to you than one you can have for free!
Have you tried an online puzzle before? Apart from the many benefits of traditional jigsaws, there are a number of great reasons to try the digital version!
2. Kindness Coloring Pages
Another all-time favourite is our kindness coloring pages. There are literally thousands of teachers using our coloring sheets in their classrooms and these free pages have been downloaded over 5,000 times.
And, in case you're wondering why they're so popular, well, many teachers and parents know that coloring isn't just for fun and with our pages, children are reading positive messages that act like affirmations to reinforce good character traits and behavior. And that's just the start! There are some other very good reasons listed below which makes coloring a healthy past time for adults as well. So, why not download the pages and join your kids in a mindfulness activity!
3. Kindness Checklist
We love our checklists and the amount of kindness that is generated from them and kids do too! We even have students email photos of themselves holding their checklist when it's complete (yes, please send your too!).
What's great about these is that kids are encouraged to do acts of kindness in 4 different ways - at school, at home, in the community, and with an adult. And if adults want to get involved, there's a checklist for them as well!
We had some teachers ask us about custom checklists so we created one that teachers can edit themselves which includes an option for students to work in teams.
4. Kindness Is... Poster
Need some kindness ideas for students? Grab these posters and challenge your students to pick some to do on Random Acts of Kindness day!
We just love being able to provide useful resource so everyone can make the most of kindness day and we totally appreciate hearing about what you do. Please send us photos, stories of kindness, checklists, and more! We'd love to showcase how you make a difference at home and school!
