Happy Mother’s Day!

This past Mother’s Day I received some roses from a friend and I asked them if they would mind if I gave one of them away so I could brighten another single mom’s day. Of course they said yes, so I picked out the best looking one I had and crafted a little note and ‘vase’ and set it by my neighbor’s front door. 🙂

I wasn’t originally planning on sharing because I felt it defeated the anonymity I was going for. But I reconsidered because I was reading the story about the person who bought tires for someone, and that inspired me. So I thought maybe my small act of kindness might inspire someone else who feels they don’t have much to give that there is always a way… Even if it’s just a friendly smile! 🙂 – Jennifer
