He left empty-handed
I had ridden my bike to the store for a few things. A young boy was in front of me at the register with toilet paper and a can of dog food. His mom had given him a card to use and it either wouldn’t go thru or was declined. After 3 tries, he left empty-handed.
I told the cashier to ring up his items and I was sure he hadn’t gotten far. She looked stunned but she did it. I took off on my bike and finally spotted him way past my road. I caught up with him and handed him the bag. He got wide-eyed and said thank you very much!
I was so glad I found him. – Laur
