He’d covered it!

Years ago, I took my kids out to breakfast, just the three of us. My daughter was a baby and my son a toddler.

The waitress sat us by an elderly man and I was extremely anxious that we would disturb his meal. Not that my kids were misbehaved, but they are kids. Rambunctious, silly, crazy at times.

We made it through breakfast and at some point the elderly man had left without me even noticing. When the waitress came back to us I asked for the check and the man I was so worried about disturbing had covered it. Tip and all. – Megan ♥
