He’d driven for miles to get to me

We’ve had a slow leak on the faucet outside that we have a water hose connected to and the fixtures are very old so I was afraid to touch it in case I broke a pipe or fitting.

I called a guy who was referred by a facebook friend. He said he would call me back that day, but I figured he was crazy busy. He called the next day apologizing saying he’d had a rough job the day before. He came out to look at the leak, educated me on the workings of the faucet and how to safely tighten fittings on a pipe that goes in your house through the wall. He tightened it and I said I’d go get my checkbook, but he told me no charge! I offered to at least pay for his gas, but he wouldn’t hear of it. He’d driven about 25 miles to get to me! It totally made my day. We have several things to be addressed in the house and are having him do the repairs. – Kim 😀

I had a plumber come to my house to take a look at a sewer drain that had backed up in our garage. It was nothing and he told me what to do about it. I also had a leak under my kitchen sink and asked if he could take a look at it. So, he came up to the kitchen and said it wouldn’t take much to fix it. I asked how much it was going to cost and he said….Oh, we’ll just call it a housewarming gift. – Sharon ❤
