Helping makes everything taste better!

I’ve been unemployed for 9 months now, but sometimes get called for work. The other night as I was coming out of the grocery store a young mother with her little girl, came up to me in the parking lot and asked if I’d like to buy a dozen tamales.

I rarely carry cash, but when I asked her how much they were she said $12. I’ve been that mom with little kids to feed, so I bought the tamales & gave her the $15 I had. She had them in a cooler in her trunk to keep them warm. I couldn’t wait to get home and try them, the aroma made me so hungry. And, I swear, they were the best tamales I ever tasted because I was helping another mom after others once helped me when I had children to feed. – Barbara ❤
