A homeless man gave me his jacket

Help Someone.
A couple of years ago, I moved across the country with my family. I was lonely and didn’t know anyone. My husband brought a friend home for dinner one night – he was a homeless man who was friends with my husband’s mom. He lived in a tent on someone else’s property and worked every day to earn enough money for food and whatever else he needed (it was in CA so living in a tent is do-able).

Anyway, he had on this cool poncho-type jacket and I commented that I liked it. The next time my husband saw him at the coffee shop, he handed the cleaned & folded jacket to my husband and told him it was for me. I cried for an hour and had him over for dinner again several times. – Jenn 🙂
