I accidentally pulled the door off my van…

I am a single mother of 5 children after my husband took his own life last year. I went down the street with my kids to buy tea (dinner). When we came back to the car, the sliding door on my van was stuck. I gave it too much muscle and the whole thing came off! I put the kids and the tea in the car, and was struggling to try to put the door back on ( it’s really heavy). My children were hungry and distressed, and I didn’t know how I was going to get the car fixed after hours!

A lovely man passing by saw my struggle and came to my rescue. He put the door back on for me. I thanked him for his act of kindness and told him I would ‘pay it forward’. – Dayna
