Kind for the right reasons
Apparently, he then struck-up a conversation with that boy, after which my son grabbed his lunch and came back to have lunch with his new friend.
That little boy is wheel-chair bound and I wondered if it was sympathy that drove my son to keep him company.
When I asked him if that was the reason, he answered “No, mum. God made us all differently. I thought he looked sad and I wanted to be his friend.” he added that seeing that boy happy made him happy too.
What made me thankful was that my son didn’t see disability and show pity towards that boy. He felt compassion towards someone who looked lonely. He was kind for the right reasons. – Sharm
