Labor of Love

For the past three days, I have been doing all the laundry in the Nursing Home that I oversee as an Administrator. I have been filling in for an unexpected opening.

Today, after my 10th hour doing this laundry, two nursing assistants who work the evening shift took pity on me… they stopped me in the hallway, “Hey, we have an idea, how would you like it if we stayed over tonight after our shift and finish up folding and putting away the laundry?” I was shocked, “Really! You would do that for me? Thank you so much, I will take you up on your offer!” We all went back to work with smiles on our faces. They gave, I received with gratitude and I think we all felt really good after that encounter! Especially me! – Lynnette 😀
