Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something

This is the story of a boy who delivered grocery at my place. My mother became friendly with this boy and while talking to him found out that he had finished his graduation in India, came to Dubai for work and as he was not getting a suitable job, he took up the delivery boy job.

He was paid on the basis of number of deliveries and had to stand under hot sun till he got an order for delivery. He was not allowed to stay inside the shop as he did not have a work permit Visa.

One day he was looking sad while he delivered the order at my place. When my mom asked him what was wrong, we found out that he had to leave the country in a weeks time, as his Visa was expiring and his parents back home were in a very bad financial crisis.

He was crying bitterly and on hearing this, my mom decided to help this boy. All she did was just sent his CV to all her contacts in the social networking site asking if their were any vacancies suiting his qualifications. To our surprise, my mother got a call from one of her friends saying that there was an immediate vacancy for a clerk in his office. The boy was called for an interview and was appointed the very next day with a decent salary to start with.

The boys parents called my mother and thanked her for this act of kindness as this has helped them to survive on a daily basis.

I was very proud of my mother and the fact that her kind act has proven that NOBODY CAN DO EVERYTHING, BUT EVERYONE CAN DO SOMETHING and it was magical to see the smile on the face of this nice boy. – Ridha 😀
