She was an angel to me
When I moved from Tasmania and flew in to Brisbane to catch a bus to central NSW, it turned out my purse got pick pocketed at the bus terminal and I only realized as I was on the bus hours into the journey.
The lady next to me was a ‘veteran’ bus traveler and took me under her wing. From telling me to jump off first and head straight to the bathroom, she brought my dinner for me and gave me some coins to ring my destination and tell them what had happened.
As an 18-year-old and pretty unworldly, she was an angel for being my surrogate mum on such a stressful trip. – Amanda 🙂
