The kindness which always stays with me was in 1987 when we first arrived in Australia. Our container hadn’t arrived (I have no idea what delayed it) so we had nothing for our rented home in Willetton.
Suddenly, neighbours arrived with ‘welcoming gifts’ – a box of toys, a box of children’s books, warm freshly made banana bread.
Angels kept appearing at my door and I’ve never forgotten how friendly & welcoming that felt. I hope I’ve passed that on over the years.
Spread kindness, it is so appreciated and never forgotten. – Sheila
