The lion for courage!

When I went through cancer treatment, my friends at school purchased a Wizard of Oz pin set and each of us wore one of the pins. I wore the lion since I needed lots of courage.

Once my treatment was over everyone gave me their pins and they served to remind me what an awesome support system I had. As I’ve encountered people through the years who needed support/encouragement in similar situations, I’ve shared the pins and charged each person to pass on the pin with the story when they feel they no longer need it.
