Their generosity has meant the world to me

Create Those Blessings For Others.
I’m a single mom to girls, I work 30 hours a week at the local university and attend graduate school there full time. My ex no longer pays child support and it made it hard for us to make ends meet.

I started to think about dropping out of grad school so I could work full time but a friend of mine told me that they wanted to support me by help us out once a month.

The first month she brought us meals in jars, enough for a week. The next month we were all really sick and they brought soups, jello, crackers, juice and soda. The month after that was a gift card to a local grocery store. The timing of the card was perfect because it was my youngest daughter’s birthday and I was able to get her a small cake while shopping for our other groceries.

Their generosity has meant the world to me. I feel so lucky and can’t wait to be in a position to pay it forward in the near future. – Misty
