Warming the winter

One of our neighbors makes sure our large driveway/parking area stays cleared of snow. My husband and I are in our 70’s, so snow removal is both a must for us (due to my health problems) and a burden. Our small snow blower will do the job adequately, but Jake’s tractor is much bigger and gets the work done quicker.

Jake has never asked for pay nor does he stay around for thanks. We do our best to catch him mid task and bring him hot coffee, though, which he will accept.

We really appreciate this great friend and neighbor and are thankful for all he does for us. – Barbara   😀
