What an amazing, caring man
Today, I went to see a surgeon that I never met about getting my gallbladder out. During the visit, I got to telling him that my 9-year-old had just had a subtotal colectomy with an ileostomy and how she is having such a hard time with the skin under this ostomy bag. When I told him how none of the doctors or nurse’s have been able to help us, he spent the next hour teaching me all sorts of things we might try. He even gave me samples of bags.
When I got home, I received a call from the wound center that had previously refused us service because she is a child and not an adult. They said that this doctor had stopped in there to speak with them and they were calling to schedule an appointment for my daughter!
I was already so touched by the time and help he offered during my office visit, but this was just an amazing gift to top it off. What an amazing, caring man! – Kristen 😀
