When I was in a local homeless shelter after losing my home and my business partner ousted me, I happened upon another homeless man with his small son outside a hamburger place. His son was crying because his dad didn’t have a dollar for a hamburger and he was hungry. I gave him the last dollar I had to my name.
The next day, my counselor put me in touch with a local transitional housing program. I think that was a God thing that put those two in my path so I could find my way out of being homeless. What goes around, comes around. – Anon
