I was walking along one day when a lady stopped to ask me about my shoes.

I explained they were wonderful and I wouldn’t last long on my feet without them. She replied she was having such a hard time working on her feet that she might soon lose her job.

I asked her what her shoe size was and it was the same as mine so I wrote down her address and left a pair of the same kind of shoes in her mailbox. I’m sure she was surprised and I hope it helped her. – Anon
