It made us feel good

We learned in church of a family whose entire house had just burned down just before Christmas. 

We talked to someone after services in charge of help for the family. We decided to provide Christmas for the parents and their 2 teenagers asking that we remain unknown to the family.

We provided a gift for each one, a check for the fund set up to help house them, and gave them a lovely wooden music box that opened up revealing a winter scene with a Christmas tree that turned around as it played “Oh Christmas Tree” because we wanted to make sure in some way they did have a Christmas Tree.

It made us feel so good to wake up Christmas morning knowing that we were able to provide a little love and happiness for this family who were suffering such a loss. – Kathy and Jim
