Talk about a chain reaction!

My co-worker told me a story about her doctor’s office visit. She was waiting to be seen by her physician when she struck up a conversation with a young man. She related to him and had sympathy for him as he had just lost his job and wasn’t going to be able to afford his prescriptions.

My co-worker reached in her pocket and said, “Here’s $4. I know it isn’t much, but I do hope it helps.” The next thing she knew, the man next to her pulled out $20 and handed it to the young man, and then the woman next to him handed the man another $20. It literally kept going around the office until he had enough to pay for ALL of his prescription pills! The man couldn’t hold it in and burst out in tears. Talk about a chain reaction!!! – Cassie  🙂
