11-year-old gives back after loss

After the loss of 3 family members (great grandfather and 2 aunts) to Covid in 2020, I wanted to gift back. Through a 6th grade school band fundraiser, I sold over 1,440 of World’s Finest chocolate bars @ $1 each.

Using my allowance, holiday, and birthday money, I bought 420 bars to gift away. I gifted 300 bars to the local hospital, 120 bars to firefighters and EMS in Warner Robins, GA.

This was my way of saying ‘Thank You’ for loving and caring for people during the Covid Crisis. Offering my love and respect for their commitments to serve others. – Raegan, age 11
