Her coffee and toast’s going cold.
I have felt a bit funny doing a random act of kindness and then telling people on facebook what I did but I wanted to share my most recent RAK.
In a cafe with my healthy kids having lunch and a worn out looking lady with a child in a wheelchair came in and sat at table next to us. The child, who looked about 13 years, had a drink and something to eat which the mum had to assist in feeding and cleaning, whilst her coffee and raisin toast no doubt went cool. She happily attended to her daughters needs first. It got me thinking how difficult her full time caring role must be. She finally sat and had her lunch. When the waitress came by to ask me if everything was ok, I asked her to discreetly and anonymously to transfer their bill to our table. I was fortunate enough to be able to see her reaction when she went to pay and was told someone else had. The smile on her face and look of disbelief made me think that she would continue the ripple. – Kelly ♥
