The nicest thing a stranger has done

A few months ago, my friend and I were in the hairdressers. She and I both have disabilities and are in wheelchairs.

At the start of my haircut I was told that it would cost me about $80. Not sure how much it cost my friend, but much cheaper.

Anyway, at the end of the appointment my friend and I went up to the counter to pay. The lady told us “you don’t have to pay a cent, the man that was in here next to you paid for both of your haircuts.”

I was so shocked! Nobody had ever done anything like that for me. My friend and I spent the next two hours trying to go through the entire shopping centre to find this sweet man to say thank you, but we never did get to find him. I was even going to see if I could use their intercom, but they wouldn’t allow it.

It was one of the nicest things a stranger has ever done for me, and despite being a pensioner…. I am definitely going to be paying it forward! – Melissa ♥
