Thanking the kitchen staff.

I remember when I was in hospital for an extended period, on all my meal cards I would write a ‘thank you’ with a smiley face & an extra compliment like nice gravy or lovely custard… After a few days each member of the kitchen staff came up to meet me, just wanting to thank me because they were so used to getting negative feedback. This made a pleasant change for all! – Deborah
