The restaurant widened the ripple.

XmaslunchstorybryonyAt the restaurant where we had Christmas lunch (thank you Grandma!), a little boy at the table behind us was unhappy and couldn’t settle to eat his food.

As his Daddy was walking him around the room to settle him, I reached over to his high chair and left a coloring book and crayon that I had with me for my son (who was delightedly playing with his new Buzz Lightyear!). The boys’ Mummy was thrilled and thanked us for this small deed. A few minutes later we went to pay our bill and noticed that we had not been charged for our son’s meal. We insisted on paying for him, trust me, he eats his fair share of the buffet, but the owners would not take payment. This lovely and generous kindness from the restaurant owners, shows the ripple effect in all it’s glory. – Bryony 🙂
