He spoke in the most reassuring way

When I had my car accident and was trapped in my car, there was a young firefighter who got in next to me in the passenger seat. He held my hand and spoke to me in the most reassuring way as they broke the glass out of my windshield, cut the roof off my car and worked to dislodge my foot from under the clutch so I could be pulled out of the car. He distracted me and was just amazing.

I never learned his name, but he is someone I will never forget. – Erin
