It made her smile a little

I was at the gas station last night after work very tired after working 8 1/2 hours in a call center. There was this little old lady in front of me needing 5 gallons of gas. She asked the cashier if she could help her pump the gas because she did not know how to do it. I jumped in without thinking and said I would help her do it. So I paid for my gas and went out and help her.

I showed her how to pump the gas and talked with her and her friend for a few moments. I was glad I took the time despite the fact I was tired. I found out that the lady’s friend had to put her husband in the hospital. The fact that I took a moment out of my day to talk with her and to help them made her smile a little and made me feel good!! – Rebecca
