Not alone

Yesterday, a homeless man helped ME! Life has been quite challenging lately, yet I’m so fully aware of all the pain others have.

As I was at the stop light, I read his sign and desperately looked for something I could give him. As I was already crying, I knew there was nothing I could do to help. I had a smile, which I gave through my tears. He smiled back and waved at me. He understood pain. At that moment, he gave me a gift… because I wasn’t alone during the time at that light. – Valerie 🙂
