I miss her every day.
When I was in college I didn’t receive any tuition help from my parents. This was not my mom’s choice, but she would send $5 here and there that I knew she took from her own tiny amount she got from my dad to get her hair done etc.
It always seemed to arrive just when I was on my last clean pair of jeans. I was the poor farm kid among a lot of well to do kids whose parents put $ in the bank for them every week. I had a full load and work study plus did odd jobs for professors, as most lived around the campus in faculty housing.
It meant a lot to me to get those few dollars every now and then. I had the best mom ever and miss her every day. – Kim ♥
