Breakfast Beauty

This morning my young son (21) took me out to breakfast. There was an elderly couple at the next table. She was very solicitous of her husband and it was obvious that they cared deeply for each other. They smiled at us and waved to my little granddaughter.

When we paid our bill, my son ask the waitress for the bill for the elderly couple and paid it as well. The waitress asked if there was any message and he said tell them they are beautiful and to have a wonderful day.

It made me so proud of him. He was left with only a few dollars, but the joy he got from being able to share was amazing to see. – Sharon
