Man, I feel good!

My son just turned 11. We had just gone to the grocery store and I allowed him to pick out a couple of his favorite snacks (Cheetos and beef sticks!).

On the way out of the store I heard him call out, “excuse me sir.” I turned and saw he was trying to get the attention of a homeless man who was walking away. I asked him what he was doing and he said he had 8 cents in his pocket and he wanted to give it to him. I told him that might be a little insulting, lets get our groceries to the car and pick out a couple of things to give him. He saw his Cheetos and beef sticks and said, “Here, I bet he’d love these.” I asked him if he was sure and he said yes, so we drove across the parking lot and he said, “excuse me sir, could you use some snacks?” The man said sure and graciously took them.

Afterwards my son said, “Man, I feel good!” – Eden  😀
