Merry Christmas kiddos!

I am a 5th grade teacher in Normangee, Texas, and this year for Christmas, the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade kids came together and gave items of need to our soldiers overseas.

My 5th graders never complained or said a word about why they wouldn’t receive a gift for Christmas. These kids understand that Christmas is about the giving, not the gift.

I am so proud of my kids and their giving spirit that I went and purchased each of them a small token of my appreciation. I was overjoyed to see their smiling faces and watch each of them play with their gift during the Christmas party.
