More than grateful

I didn’t have enough at the register one time when my son was a baby. I was only short a few dollars or so.

The cashier went through all the register coupons she handed me that were meant to be used on my next purchase and scanned them all bringing my total down to about .50c over what I had. The cashier took the money from a cup she had at the register and told me they use it when someone is short a few.

I was more than grateful and til this day still remember it nearly 17 years later. – Liza
