Thank you kind stranger

The last few years have been extremely difficult for me and my family. I am still reeling from a devastating loss 8 months ago and I’ve learned that my mom has brain cancer and 3-6 months to live.

The other night I was feeling very sad and alone. While I was at the grocery store I started crying (totally unlike me). I was so embarrassed and was trying to get myself under control. A lady I didn’t know, came up to me and asked if she could give me a hug. She hugged me so tight and I didn’t want to let go. She didn’t try to ask me a bunch of questions. It was exactly what I needed right at that moment. She gave me a beautiful gift and I so appreciated it! Thank you kind stranger. – Kirsten ❤
