She was a complete stranger!

Oh My God! I’m in absolute shock! In a good way.

I went shopping today to try on a couple of dresses as I’m sick and tired of having nothing to wear! Anyway, I found two dresses that I loved. Both cost $119.00 each!!! I could only afford one but decided to lay-by the other dress.

Whilst trying on the dresses in the dressing room, I got to talking to a lovely lady and her two little girls. One of the girls told me that I was ‘beautiful’. The lady told me that she especially loved the second dress (that was the one I couldn’t afford). Anyway, I came out of the dressing room with my items and the lady said to me ‘enjoy your dress’. I replied, ‘thank you.’ Then she said… ‘I paid for it.’ I said ‘What’?, and looked at the sales assistant, who confirmed that the lovely lady had paid for the $119.00 dress!!!

I couldn’t believe it!!! I was speechless and didn’t know what to say. I hugged her and managed to say ‘thank you, oh my God.’ She said, ‘it looked beautiful on you and I wanted you to have it.’

I don’t know what I’ve done to receive such a generous act of kindness and giving. It’s not like someone paid for a cup of coffee! It’s a $119.00 dress from a complete stranger! Nothing like this has ever happened to me before.
