It was the best feeling in the world.
I once went to work with my husband, testing emergency pull cords in senior living places. A lady came to the door and she was half dressed and half in pajamas. She had a bag packed and she was holding a picture, looking very upset. I don’t know if she was 100% in her right mind or not, but she was saying she needed to get to her son because he was having surgery and it was bad. She didn’t know what to do and she kept holding his picture.
I sat with her for quite some time, talking about her son and calming her down. Then I prayed with her and hugged her. It was the best feeling in the world knowing I could be there for her when no one else was around. – Deanna
