You made a big difference
I just wanted to say a very big thank you to the lady who paid for my coffee this morning in Lilydale.

My name is Allison Comba, I am 21 years old and I created The Flower Girls Foundation with my little sister Rebecca after realizing what a strong effect Alzheimer’s disease has on individuals and on everyone around them. Our grandmother has been suffering from Alzheimer’s for years now and it is absolutely heartbreaking to see….
Our assumption is that anyone shopping in Goodwill just before Christmas is in need. My sister and I went to Goodwill during the Holiday season and purchased gift certificates in $10 denominations. They still hand write them so we had time to share previously purchased gifts with the staff as we waited. Then we randomly…
Corwin Johnson was a much loved 16-year-old junior at Mesabi East. He had a dream to collect 9,000 pillows for the needy but the day after announcing his plans, Corwin unexpectedly passed away.
So, I got pulled over this morning. I knew it was coming after all my plates expired in October. My addicted daughter had decided that the cash I had to pay the rent was hers so I had to scrape together what I could to pay. (I truly hate that my landlord insists on cash),…

Her devastated Grandma went to my daughter’s favourite bath product shop to buy (to put in her coffin) a gift for Steph’s upcoming birthday. She explained this to the girl who served her. This lovely young lady then spent a lot…
On my way to work each day, I cross a park where there is a homeless man that has become a fixture of that spot. He is always there with his “I am a homeless Vet” sign.
Last Wednesday on my way to work while it was 19° and icy out, I saw a person under a blanket in the bus shelter. From the position of their head and hands, I was scared they may be frozen to death (though he was wearing purple gloves but his hands were becoming frostbitten).
I was 39 weeks pregnant and my daughter was stillborn. I was devastated and in shock having gone from eagerly anticipating the birth of my child to trying to cope with her death.
A nice lady paid for our lunch. We were totally blown away. She said we were a beautiful family. So, the next day, I was getting tires put on my van and an older lady from out of state who was traveling alone had a flat tire. We picked up her tab and she was…
